Ah that reminds me that I need to do that too in a few weeks time. Although I’m not expecting a harsh winter here in the Netherlands to be honest.
I’ve always kind of liked the look of those wheels you use for your winter tyres to be honest, though I agree that the ‘split’ ones you have on the back look better. I think they are one of the best rims for A4s and A3s of that period.

Already? It’s not that cold yet, is it?
I will need time to adjust to the different driving experience on mine...
Yes, both sets of wheels are originally Peugeot, and neither belong under a 406. Outside tire diameter is withing 1-1.5% identical, with the 205 GTi wheels obviously having taller tires than what you’d put under a 205.

Oh crap. It is almost that time isn’t it. “my Miata on Snow Tires with a trailer hauling another Miata on Snow Tires is better than any SUV ever” season.
Where’s my shotgun?

It is not that cold yet, but I plan to sell it soon, and I want to sell the wheels seperately.
The GTI wheels look great, they have become hard to find

You’ll get more for the nice wheels. However, won’t the less nice wheels impact resale value of the Audi?
I have an extra set of those (1987 CTi with a 2.0 Turbo swap in progress) and another set 14 inch (pepperpot) 205 GTi wheels (1988 GTi). Maybe I should buy another set for my latest purchase; a €300 1986 1.4 205. 205 GTi wheels on all the cars!
